Our tire chains from Titan Chain here are gonna be our square link diamond pattern. What diamond patterns is gonna do for you, it's gonna give you additional traction going down the road when it's a lot more contours to it, like if it's curvy. Along with the diamonds, it's gonna give you nice edges on the sides of the chain links to get a bite into ice and snow to give you better traction. Behind the tire, these are S-class rated, and you have a good amount of space back here to get your hands to make your connections, but it's just very tight underneath the wheel well in there. so you want to be very cautious of how quickly you're moving down the road. more

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at the Titan Chain Diamond Alloy Snow Tire Chains right here on our 2019 Kia Sorento. If you need a lot of extra traction on the road, maybe you're expecting a lot of snow and some ice, then this is gonna be an option for you. There's a bunch of different tire chains for a Kia Sorento, I personally prefer this style, because it's easier to install, but I'll show you how to do that later in this video. So this is gonna be arranged in a diamond pattern, and that is compared to your traditional ladder style chains which just go across, this covers more of your tire and helps out with those starts and those stops as well as those turns. These are heavy-duty alloy chains, so the link themselves are made of a manganese nickel alloy, and that means that it's an alloy that is preferable for multiple seasons, if you wanna be able to reuse your chains, that's a good construction for that. And the links are shaped as square links, which means they have a flat edge on each side to help bite into the ice, but also get through that snow. more

Hey everyone, Charles here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at the pewag Servo RS Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains on the 2021 Kia Forte. This is gonna be your diamond pattern style tire chain, and it's gonna give you that really smooth ride and that awesome traction. As compared to your ladder style tire chain, that's gonna be a lot more bumpy, you're gonna have your dips in your valleys, 'cause it's gonna be chain, tire, chain, tire, but with a diamond pattern, you have a lot more coverage, and it's mostly just the chain on the snow or ice. The square links add that extra traction and to break through the ice, especially compared to the roller style, those are gonna give you a smoother ride, but these are just solid and it's gonna give you that extra traction. So some of the things I like about these pewags is the coating on the chains right here towards the rim, just extra protection against your rim right there, and I do like the simple installation, I wouldn't mind doing this outside in the weather as opposed to your ladder style chains where you'd have to go on your stomach or your back and reach around there. Very quick and simple to install, and I like the self-tensioning mechanism right here, you don't have to purchase a separate self-tensioner, it's just all included in the package here, as well as some more added protection for your rim with these covers right here. more

Konig Standard Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2021 Kia Forte- Video
Hey everyone, Charles here at etrailer, and today, we're taking a look at the Konig CB12 Snow Tire Chains on the 2021 Kia Forte. This is your diamond pattern style snow chain, and while it is going to give you a much smoother ride than your ladder style, it's also gonna give you a lot better traction, because with your ladder style, it's chain, tire, chain, so there's gonna be a bump, a hill in a valley, but with your diamond style, you're just gonna have constant traction with the chains. It is a D-link shape, so it's gonna be really good at breaking through that ice, as well as it being made out of a nickel manganese alloy steel, it's gonna make it nice and durable as well as corrosion resistant. Another thing that I like about these Konigs are that they have highlighted red touch points, so when you're outside and everything's gray and snowy and wet, you know exactly what you need to be able to secure your entire chain. And they do have a coating on the chains that are nearest to your rim to provide extra protection, but it's doing a really good job actually at maintaining its clearance right here. So with my Kia here being a nice compact sedan, there's gonna be limited spacing between our wheel and the strut here, so with these Konigs being Class S compatible, it has a nice low profile, that is a great solution for our Kia here. more

Hey, everybody. Connor here, at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Konig self-tensioning snow tire chains, here for our 2017 Kia Sorento with tire size 235/65-17. These tire chains here are going to be an excellent option for any vehicle, especially our Sorento, here. Now, the number one feature, the most beneficial feature that we need to point out right away is the self-tensioning technology. I'm not sure if you've ever installed any other brand of tire chains before, but generally speaking, when you finish the installation, you have to pull forward drive, back in order to adjust the chains so you can retention them so they stay on the tires better. more

We're going to be taking a look at the pewag snox self-tensioning snow tire chains here for our 2017 Kia Sorento with tire size 235-65-17. So what I really like about these tire chains, and perhaps what sets them apart most from the competitors, is that there's a one-piece design, we do not have to make any connections, we just simply drape the elastic band around the back of the tire, pull forward so we can get the remaining elastic band behind the tire, and that's it, we're done. They are self-tensioning, so we don't need to make any further adjustments. We're always going to have this tight fit on our tires, keeping them in place, giving us the best traction. more

So we're going to go ahead and do a test set of these Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains, see how they work in conjunction with our Sorento. Now the tire size on this Sorento is going to be 235/65r17. Now these alloy snow tire chains are going to be a really nice option to be able to give you better traction through any inclement weather situation. They're self-tensioning, so meaning we don't have to purchase a separate rubber adjuster like you would with a standard ladder-pattern set of chains to pull down on every side and make sure it stays tensioned. Right here is the built-in self-tensioner. more

We're going to do a test fit of these Konig XG12 Pro Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains.Now the tire size on our Sorento is 235/65-R17, and these are going to be a really nice set of chains to keep in the back of your Sorento for any inclement weather situation you might find yourself in. You'll be able to get them out, easily install them on the wheels of your Sorento so that you get better traction through those situations.Now, the two things I really like about these tire chains are one, that they're self-tensioning so we don't have to purchase any type of rubber adjusters separately to keep our chain snug. You can see right here we just have this nice self-tensioning system, making sure that our chains stay snug against the tire. The other is going to be that it's very easy to get them installed thanks to the color-coded connection points. more

Carter: Hey guys. Carter here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Konig self-tensioning tire chains for our 2012 Kia Soul with tire size 205/55-16. The most notable feature of these tire chains is by far the self-tensioning mechanism. Now unlike other tire chains, you have to make continual adjustments, whereas after you get done installing, you need to pull forward, drive around the block and then make further adjustments. We're not going to have to do that with these Konig chains because this self-tensioning mechanism is going to take all the hassle out of that because it does this for us. more

The Titan cable tire chains are made of a case hardened steel, so your know they're going to be very durable, and they're also going to resist rust and corrosion. Now these are class S compatible, meaning they are designed for vehicles with limited wheel well clearance, like our Kia Soul here.Now these can be installed on both the front and the rear of the vehicle. However, since our Kia Soul is a front wheel drive vehicle, we will be installing these on the front of the vehicle.As you can see here, we have these very low profile rulers. more

The extra small D links are going to provide you with a smooth ride compared to chains with larger style links, though they're not going to provide you with as good as traction as that larger style. Now, when comparing these chains to the roller-style chains, they're not going to be as smooth, but they are going to provide you with better traction.Most chains require a rubber adjuster, an additional part, to help keep them tight and snug around the tire. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Kia, Nero we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install a Titan chain alloy snow tire chains, part number TC1550. Keep in mind we'll be installing these on tire size 225 45 18. This is what our tire chains look like when there installed. There gonna be a diamond pattern so there gonna give you great tire coverage.As opposed to some of the ladder pattern style chains, these are gonna be dealing style chains, there gonna have flat edges, there gonna give you more surface to surface contact. It's also gonna help these chain wear a lot more evenly. These chains are gonna offer a low profile design for vehicles with limited wheel well clearance.Now, or yellow chain, and our gray chain here in the center are going to have a painted coating so there not gonna be cold to the touch when you're putting these on in the snow. more
